Today, the Foundation for Community Initiatives joins many Civil Society Organizations and the donor community supporting Land Rights in Liberia to Celebrate 3 years of the passage of the Land Rights Act (LRA) at the National Land Conference, held in Buchanan city, Grand Bassa County from March 1-3, 2022.

Today, the Foundation for Community Initiatives joins many Civil Society Organizations and the donor community supporting Land Rights in Liberia to Celebrate 3 years of the passage of the Land Rights Act (LRA) at the National Land Conference, held in Buchanan city, Grand Bassa County from March 1-3, 2022.
This historical event brought together actors from all parts of the country supporting the implementation of the LRA, implementing organizations, private sector and community dwellers who are customary land owners.
This event coincides with the birthday celebration of one of the champions of WOMEN and Youth Land Rights in Liberia, Madam Loretta Alethea Pope Kai , Executive Director of FCI and Chairperson of the National Civil Society Council of Liberia . Madam Kai has authored many articles calling for the inclusion of women in leadership in the management of natural resources.
